About the Presentation

  • INFO:

This presentation will review the impact of disproportionate discipline on students of color and provide concrete solutions to address disparities at the classroom, school, and district levels. The application of an MTSS, data based decision making framework to the problem of disproportionate discipline will be explored. Effective data review procedures including data identification, disproportionate discipline metric calculation, and how to set up progress monitoring systems will be explored. Participants will be provided with opportunities to practice calculations, and integration of data review within their school or district systems will be discussed.
